Day 291: Adidas Basketball presents 'The Return' feat. D.Rose (Videos) **Updated**

Episode 1: Belief

Check out this awesome webiseries about Derrick Rose and his road to recovery after he went down during the NBA playoff in Game 1 vs. the 76ers.

This is why I respect D.Rose not only as an NBA player but also as an athletic individual & true competitor who never gives up. Drive, motivation, and passion is all you need to get anywhere in this world.

Check out the two three other webiseries episodes after the jump... **Updated**

Day 214: New D.Rose Commercial - The Bull ft. beatz by araabMuzik (Videos)

I'm not tryin to drop a promo for these Adidas shoes b/c they are kinda ugly to me. I really want to focus on how dope this commercial is. What makes it dope is.. well 2 things: The cool imagery & sick moves by Derrick Rose and the awesome instrumental beat.

If you are a music/hip-hop head then you must be wondering, who composed the beat? Well, its none other than the one & only araabMuzik. I recently saw this video about him and never really realized how supernaturally-talented he is on the MPC. Check out this recent video of him below:

Watching stuff like this keeps me motivated. Still on my road to learning music in hopes of making dope-sounding beats like araabMuzik and many others beat producers I'm following #inspired

Day 187: NBA All-Star Game in Phillipines - Kobe alley-oop to D.Rose (Video)

I heard through twitter that Kevin Durant was going to be in the Phillipines, but I didn't know some of other NBA all-stars & players were going to play a game there. Here's a clip of Kobe Bryant throwing an alley-oop to my favorite PG, Derrick Rose#Awesomeness

I swear almost every professional athlete has a twitter account, and it's quite entertaining to see what they are up to & talking about. As you can tell, I'm becoming an avid Twitter user. =P

Saw it here first: Yahoo

Day 153: I Do It by Big Sean over the 9.8 D.Rose Adidas Commercial (Video)

I just saw this new Adidas commercial for Derrick Rose's new shoe during the OKC vs MAVs game yesterday (sad loss for okc...), and as soon as I heard the beat I knew it was from this recent song by Big Sean. Chekkit:

Big Sean - I Do It

"My crew is who I be widdy-be-wid-it, Rosé i sippity-sip-it, I'm Quagmire I f*ck hoes, my cashflow I giggy-d-gig-it..." - Big Sean

(This verse is creative & funny at the same time!)

Overall, I think this song is pretty dope and I've been really diggin Big Sean's rap style lately. He's been on the come up in my radar, and I have a feeling he's gonna have a big year this year. I met him real briefly once and he seems like a chill d00d too.

Be on the lookout for his first real album dropping this year called Finally Famous scheduled to be released in the Summer (6/21/11).

Day 145: D.Rose finally winning MVP!! = New Commercials (Video)

http://daysofj.blogspot.com

I gotta give a big shout out to one of my favorite Point Guards, Derrick Rose, who was just declared #MVP of this NBA season yesterday =)

He is probably the most explosive, talented, & clutch player in today's league, and is super exciting to watch every time he steps onto the courts. I really hope he can power through that hurt ankle of his and continue to stay on fire through the playoffs now that he's the MVP (even with that hurt ankle). Leggo!

I already saw two MVP commercials with D.Rose, and I just so happen to have found one of them by Adidas:

The other one was a Powerade commercial that I saw on TV, but it's not posted up online yet. When it does, I'll post it up.

Congrats to D.Rose now go handle some business tonight vs the Hawks! #gobulls

Day 123: The New Look for Adidas ft. Derrick Rose, Katy Perry, B.o.B. & More

I've been seeing this cool "Adidas is all in" campaign going on a lot recently, and I just want to share this new commercial they've unveiled. It's a very motivating & uplifting commercial featuring some of their top athletes & musical artists such as Derrick RoseKaty PerryB.o.B., and more.

I really like how they tie in music & sports together, and I can see why because being a professional athlete or a widely-known musician require so much hard work if you want to compete with the best and stay on top of the game.

I'm starting to like where Adidas is heading as a brand right now. I'm all in.

Good lookin Shimp-Dizzle for showing me this one =)

Day 113: My NBA All-Star Weekend - D.Rose signing, Pictures, & More! (Events)

http://daysofj.blogspot.com

All was crackin this past weekend with NBA All-Star Weekend happening in Los Angeles, CA this year.

Since last Thursday, there have been so many NBA players making live appearances for the fans all over the place from the Fox Hills Mall, 3rd Street in Santa Monica, the Beverly Center, and more. There were also mad club parties each night hosted by various NBA players and so many celebs/rappers everywhere making special appearances too, but I wasn't able to get access to any of those parties so boo... =(

My one highlight of the weekend was that I did get to see one of my favorite NBA players, Derrick Rose. I got real lucky when I got to see him because the day before his appearance I found out that you needed a wristband to see him. They only handed out 150 of those wristbands and luckily I got one of them.. I waited 2 hours to get that wristband but it was so worth it.

I didn't have a jersey for him to sign so I got the next best thing.. his new shoes: the Adidas Adizero Rose 1.5. Freakin awesome bball shoes btw! I got pics below:

I got a few more pictures in my album right here (mostly just sneakers & displays):

NBA All-Star Weekend: Los Angeles

Lastly, I just want to say the best part of NBA All-Star Weekend wasn't the NBA player appearances, totally not the exciting dunk contest Blake Griffin owned, and not even the All-Star game itself. The best part was actually the half-time performance by Rihanna! (I hope you know I'm being sarcastic but Rihanna did have an awesome performance tho, haha!)

In case you missed it, I got it right here:

DROOOOOL ;)

Day 44: Fast Don't Lie by Adidas (Videos)

http://daysofj.blogspot.com/

Ken Jeong is one of the funniest d00ds of this new generation of comedians, and has been blowing up ever since he premiered in the movie, The Hangover. I just saw these funny Adidas commercial featuring him as "Slim Chin" alongside two top NBA all-stars, Dwight Howard & Derrick Rose. Check it out; he's really funny:

Dwight Howard, Derrick Rose, & Slim Chin - Fast Don't Lie

Derrick Rose & Slim Chin - adiZero Rose

- Shoes look pretty dope

Props to my homie C-Murdaaaah for showing me this.

Day 19.5: NBA 2K11 Teaser with Rose, Lee, & Rondo (Video)

- Funny commercial with Derrick Rose, David Lee, and Rajon Rondo

NBA 2K is probably the best NBA video game to-date, so if you're a big NBA fan then this is a must-have every year.

NBA 2K11 will be coming out on October 5th for all platforms (ps2, ps3, psp, xbox, wii, pc), so I suggest you get a copy if you think you got what it takes to challenge me (ps3 version). New for this year's version, NBA 2K11 will feature the G.O.A.T. of the NBA, MICHAEL JORDAN!!
