Day 224: COD Modern Warfare 3 Trailer - Nice creative & use of celebs (Video Games)

Saw this pretty cool & creative Call of Duty commercial last night during Sunday Night Football, and just wanted to share this with everybody. I liked how they used the "Vet vs n00b" concept as most ALL gamers can totally relate to this no matter what game they are playing.

They did really good job putting together celebs such as Sam Worthington & Jonah Hill and meshing them with the overall concept. Dwight Howard makes a quick yet laughable appearance in the end, which is kind of random but I guess every NBA player needs to do something to make that $ during this NBA lockout.

Overall, a very well-put together and funny COD ad. Man, this game's gonna be huge.. I don't even play video games anymore and I'm thinking about getting it.

Childish Gambino aka Donald Glover just popped into my radar after I heard this song. #str8fresh

I'm really liking this track b/c its got a real uplifting beat (#motivated), but his lyrics/overall flow is just ok and could use some work.. I mean, this d00d is still young in the industry and has talent to work with, so this part of his music should only get better.

Oh yea, did you know this guy starred in the NBC show, Community? He's actually pretty funny too! =D

Last note: the cool thing about this track is that it's featured on the new Adidas commercial with Dwight Howard. Chekkit:

I'm not gonna buy into Childish Gambino's hype just yet, but I'll keep a lookout on him for now.

Day 44: Fast Don't Lie by Adidas (Videos)

Ken Jeong is one of the funniest d00ds of this new generation of comedians, and has been blowing up ever since he premiered in the movie, The Hangover. I just saw these funny Adidas commercial featuring him as "Slim Chin" alongside two top NBA all-stars, Dwight Howard & Derrick Rose. Check it out; he's really funny:
