Day 278: Hit-Boy making his mark in HITstory (Mixtape)

One of my favorite tracks from Hit-Boy's recent mixtape that just came out a few days ago. You can download it for free right here.

Check out the 'Mixtape on Blast' section to the right for a quick listen.

#Hitstory in the making.

Day 277: Just Copped - Futura x Hennessy Limited Edition Bottle

Last week, I heard Futura was going to be at a signing event with his limited edition Futura x Hennessy bottle in LA, so I went to check it out. I did a quick write-up and posted more pics from the event on my friend's blog right here.

On a similar note, check out this amazing interactive experience set up by Hennessy. It's very cool and inspiring:

Day 275: The missing Jabbawockee - Jo Koy's untold story (Video)

Check out this funny video about the original America's Best Dance Crew, The Jabbawockeez, and the untold truth about the missing Jabbawockee Jo Koy.

Saw it here first: Crooksncastles.com

Day 274: Kuratas - A giant robot you can buy (Video)

Japanese people and their infatuation for futuristic robots, but can you blame them? This stuff is kind of cool to me, haha.

At a cost of $1.35MM dollars, you can own your own with customize color schemes and accessories (Carbon shields, variety of guns, rocket lauchers!).

I wonder who's gonna be the first to purchase this robot beast... Whoever does, please play responsibly.

Day 273: What people think about Hip-Hop stereotypes (Video)

Video by  i am OTHER

Some good (some irrelevant) points discussed by the different types of people interviewed to say the least, but everybody is entitled to their opinion and experiences with Hip-Hop.

Day 272: Frank Ocean performing 'Pyramids' Live (Video)

Frank Ocean - Pyramids (Live)

Here's a video I took from the Frank Ocean show at the Wiltern in LA this past Tuesday.

I just have one word for his performance: mind-changing. He really puts it all out there on the stage, so if you have an opportunity to check him out live then I'd advise to go see him before he gets too popular.

Check out this recap my partner in crime (Twinksy) wrote up along with the pictures I took:

Day 271: Frank Ocean's album 'Channel Orange' in stores today (Album Stream)

Frank Ocean released his debut album, Channel Orange, last week via itunes, but if you don't want a digital copy then go pick up an actual CD copy which is out in stores today.

The album is very tasteful with a lot of soothing melodies and live instrument sounds. Each track has it's own mood-setting vibe as Frank Ocean puts forth amazing vocals over deep lyrics backed with so much emotion. I'm really impressed with the album though; a true piece of musical art none-the-less..

Day 269: New Generation of Hip-Hop in one track - Mac Miller x Casey Veggies x Joey Bada$$

- Off the Macadelic mixtape which can be downloaded here

A new generation of rappers are breaking into the hip-hop scene, and I'm quiete impressed with the sounds they are bringing to the table (especially these 3). Everybody should be familiar with Mac Miller by now, but the two others on the track should be recognized as well:

Originally a part of Odd Future, Casey Veggies is making his mark with his Customize Greatly mixtapes that he started since the age of 14. His recent mixtape, Customized Greatly 3, is full of quality beats and I highly recommend everybody go download it.

Only just 17 years old, Joey Bada$$ is starting to gain more notice with his underground rap style and creative lyrical flows. His popularity is quickly spreading amongst hip-hop heads, and coming from Brooklyn always helps too (people love rappers from NY f'reals). Complex did a really good write-up about him right here.

Back to Mac, go get his Macadelic mixtape (it's free) if you haven't already. If you're too lazy to download it then hit the jump for an album stream.
